"The Music Of The Night"

It took me 29 days into being in the city that I finally saw my favorite show of all time--The Phantom of the Opera. I'm pretty sure it's the 7th time I've seen the show, (2nd time on Broadway) and it still makes me emotional EVERY time! Here's the story behind why I am so in love with this show: When I was about one year old, my Dad got the cassette tapes of The Phantom of the Opera soundtrack. He played it all the time and apparently I instantly loved it! I was a blubbering baby just learning how to talk and one of the first things I said, or sang rather, was "operda" as in "opera." We had music around our house all the time (and still do), and this particular musical made the biggest impact with me when I was just a wee thing. And it continues to have a big impact on my life! I know people think I'm crazy when I've seen a show so many times, but this show to me will never get old. It is an ultimate classic and I think Andrew Lloyd Webber is a genius!

Another exciting moment I had this week was when I received TWO MORE cards in the mail!!! One from one of my best friends, Paige, and one from one of my Nanny's dear friends, Glenda. I feel so special that I've gotten four cards in less than a week!

And yet another exciting moment is happening at this very moment, our 6th and final roommate Steven is moving in!!! We are so excited that he's finally here! Our apartment is now complete!!!
