"Just a Small Town Girl"

Who got to see Journey perform in Louisville last night and it was AMAZING!!! Kayla and I called last night a "full-circle" story, because it was in Louisville, on 4th Street, in Sulley's that she and I fell in love with Journey, thanks to the song "Don't Stop Believing." It is definitely one of my top ten favorite songs EVER! So it was nice to see it performed live and we danced and sang and had the most incredible time, even though getting there wasn't quite as incredible. I was stuck on the exit ramp to the fairgrounds for 2 hours...it was MISERABLE! I had people honking and yelling at me, and I wasn't doing anything wrong, people were just impatient! So needless to say, I was really anxious and on-edge when I actually got to the concert. I missed Heart who opened up for Journey, but I dealt and was ready to just see some Journey. And like I said, fabulous time! Once the concert was over, Kayla and I were in desperate need of a restroom, so trying to get out of the parking lot got me just as anxious and on-edge as getting in. But, we made it to our hotel, freshened up, and headed out to Bardstown Road. Probably being my last trip to the Ville before I move, I was excited to make it back out to Flannigan's, where Kayla, Sam, Tubbs, Randy and I danced the night away. And of course, the night wouldn't have been complete without a late night trip to Qdoba's. SOO good!

So all-in-all, I my Louisville trip was a definite success, and I can't wait to compare it to a night out in NYC!
